Echo Technologist | Atascadero, California

Exciting opportunity for a skilled echocardiography technologist to support an advanced medical team for a 13-week contract assignment. Candidates with a strong background in cardiac imaging and a patient-focused mindset will thrive in this dynamic setting.

Schedule:

• Three 12-hour shifts per week, days (6:00am–6:30pm)
• Typical core days: Thursday and Friday, rotating weekends
• Alternate option: Thursday, Friday at one site, a flexible third day at another location, plus every other weekend on-call coverage

Qualifications:

• Registered with ARDMS or CCI in echocardiography
• Current BLS certification required
• Comfortable with Epic electronic medical records system
• Demonstrated experience in performing and documenting echocardiograms
• Attention to detail, effective communication skills, and adaptability to varied work environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-quality echocardiograms independently, following protocols and best practices
• Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical teams to interpret, discuss, and communicate imaging results
• Accurately document procedures and maintain comprehensive, timely records within the Epic system
• Adjust to varied schedules and on-call requirements, ensuring consistent, compassionate care for all patients
• Adhere strictly to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards throughout all procedures
