Step into a dynamic healthcare environment, performing vital echocardiograms and cardiac imaging studies to support patient care. This is a contract opportunity for a dedicated professional skilled in echocardiography, offering a consistent weekday schedule and a collaborative team atmosphere.
Schedule/Hours:
- Flexible shift options: Monday–Friday, either 5x8-hour shifts or 4x10-hour shifts
- No call coverage required
- No night, weekend, or holiday shifts
Qualifications:
- Current RDCS or CCI certification required
- Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in echocardiography
- Proficient in performing and interpreting a range of echo studies
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-quality echocardiographic examinations, including 2D, M-mode, color flow, and Doppler studies
- Collaborate with physicians and cardiac teams to ensure accurate image acquisition and data interpretation
- Document findings thoroughly in patient records
- Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment for optimal performance
- Adhere to all safety, quality, and infection control procedures
- Provide compassionate support to patients throughout the imaging process
