Echo Technologist - Aulander, North Carolina

Schedule/Hours:

• Flexible shift options: Monday–Friday, either 5x8-hour shifts or 4x10-hour shifts
• No call coverage required
• No night, weekend, or holiday shifts

Qualifications:

• Current RDCS or CCI certification required
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in echocardiography
• Proficient in performing and interpreting a range of echo studies
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-quality echocardiographic examinations, including 2D, M-mode, color flow, and Doppler studies
• Collaborate with physicians and cardiac teams to ensure accurate image acquisition and data interpretation
• Document findings thoroughly in patient records
• Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment for optimal performance
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and infection control procedures
• Provide compassionate support to patients throughout the imaging process
