Echo Technologist in Bear Lake, MI

Advance your career in medical imaging with a specialized contract role focused on echocardiography. This position provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient diagnostics and care while collaborating with a dedicated clinical team for a 13-week assignment.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Day shifts, 7:00am to 5:30pm
• Flexible scheduling possible in coordination with the manager

Key Qualifications:

• Expertise in performing echocardiograms using current imaging technologies
• Valid certification through ARDMS or CCI required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Prior experience in Echo Tech or cardiac sonography roles preferred
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately document and interpret echo results
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and care teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms and related ultrasound studies as ordered by physicians
• Maintain accurate records of findings and ensure imaging meets clinical standards
• Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and troubleshoot minor technical issues as needed
• Provide guidance and support to patients during procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Adhere to all relevant protocols and safety guidelines
