Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography or echocardiography program
  • Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent required
  • Proven experience operating echocardiography and related imaging equipment
  • Thorough knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact compassionately with patients of all ages
  • Attention to detail and ability to accurately document findings
  • Current BLS certification

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality echocardiograms according to established protocols
  • Assist physicians in the diagnosis, analysis, and treatment planning of cardiac conditions
  • Review patient histories and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation
  • Optimize equipment settings for best possible image quality
  • Record and analyze data for comprehensive diagnostic reports
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of exam rooms and equipment
  • Adhere to all safety, infection control, and patient privacy standards

$2,420 - $2,560/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
