Echo Technologist in Bonaire, GA

Advance your career by utilizing your expertise in echocardiography in a dynamic, collaborative medical environment. This opportunity involves a 40-hour workweek on a 10-hour day shift schedule, running from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Candidates will be scheduled for one night of on-call coverage per week, with call duty extending until 7:00 AM the following morning. Call coverage may occasionally fall on a weekend. There are no floating requirements, and weekend rotation is not required at this time. Holiday coverage is limited to call only on major holidays; the department remains open on holiday eves, with call responsibilities for roughly half of the major holidays during the contract.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Completion of Echo Tech training and proficient in performing both standard and complex echocardiographic studies
• Previous experience as an Echo Technician in a clinical setting strongly preferred
• ARDMS or CCI certification in echocardiography required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Excellent technical skills operating echocardiography equipment
• Strong communication abilities with patients, physicians, and healthcare teams
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to document findings accurately
• Willingness to participate in on-call scheduling as outlined above

• Perform high-quality echocardiograms and cardiac ultrasounds as ordered by providers
• Analyze, interpret, and document findings in accordance with clinical protocols
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
• Collaborate with cardiology and broader healthcare teams to deliver accurate reports
• Maintain equipment and follow infection control guidelines
• Be responsive during designated on-call shifts and provide timely care as required
