Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Completion of an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology
• Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
• Previous experience performing echocardiogram procedures in a hospital or clinical setting
• Proficiency with imaging equipment and digital reporting systems
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathologies
• Detail-oriented with outstanding patient care and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and changing clinical needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Independently conduct routine and emergent echocardiograms, including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress studies
• Prepare, maintain, and calibrate ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal diagnostic quality
• Work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals, providing accurate findings and assisting in diagnostic evaluations
• Carefully document imaging procedures and maintain patient records in compliance with regulatory and facility standards
• Educate patients on procedure processes, ensuring comfort and addressing any questions or concerns
