Echo Technologist | Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts

A skilled professional is needed to provide echocardiographic imaging expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position is ideal for individuals experienced with advanced echocardiogram procedures, including both routine and specialized cardiac imaging, in high-volume hospital settings. Your proficiency as an Echo Technologist will be vital to delivering quality diagnostic care and supporting patient treatment.

Schedule/Hours:

• 40 hours per week
• 8-hour shifts
• Rotating assignments may include multiple facility buildings

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience in cardiac imaging, specifically echocardiography
• Registered or registry-eligible Echo Tech (ARDMS/CCI)
• Ability to independently perform, analyze, and present high-quality echocardiograms
• Competence using imaging equipment and hospital information systems
• Clear and empathetic communication with patients and interdisciplinary teams
• Commitment to maintaining high standards in patient safety and confidentiality

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine and advanced echocardiographic examinations according to physician protocols
• Accurately acquire and document images for cardiology review
• Apply professional judgement to optimize image quality and procedure efficiency
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nursing staff, and other medical professionals
• Ensure equipment is properly set up, maintained, and sanitized
• Track and document procedures in the electronic health record
