A skilled professional is needed to provide echocardiographic imaging expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position is ideal for individuals experienced with advanced echocardiogram procedures, including both routine and specialized cardiac imaging, in high-volume hospital settings. Your proficiency as an Echo Technologist will be vital to delivering quality diagnostic care and supporting patient treatment.
Schedule/Hours:
- 40 hours per week
- 8-hour shifts
- Rotating assignments may include multiple facility buildings
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience in cardiac imaging, specifically echocardiography
- Registered or registry-eligible Echo Tech (ARDMS/CCI)
- Ability to independently perform, analyze, and present high-quality echocardiograms
- Competence using imaging equipment and hospital information systems
- Clear and empathetic communication with patients and interdisciplinary teams
- Commitment to maintaining high standards in patient safety and confidentiality
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and advanced echocardiographic examinations according to physician protocols
- Accurately acquire and document images for cardiology review
- Apply professional judgement to optimize image quality and procedure efficiency
- Collaborate with cardiologists, nursing staff, and other medical professionals
- Ensure equipment is properly set up, maintained, and sanitized
- Track and document procedures in the electronic health record
