Step into a vital role in cardiac patient care by utilizing your specialized skills as an Echo Technologist. This contract opportunity leverages your expertise in performing and analyzing echocardiograms to support high-quality diagnostic outcomes. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals while contributing critically to the accurate assessment and management of cardiovascular conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform echocardiographic exams, including 2D/M-mode, Doppler, and color flow imaging, as ordered by physicians.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and proper positioning.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, performing routine quality checks.
  • Accurately compile and record patient data and imaging results for physician review.
  • Uphold infection control and safety standards throughout each procedure.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, providing exceptional patient care.
  • Adjust and adapt exam protocols based on individual patient needs and clinical indications.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Certification in Echocardiography (RDCS or RCS) required.
  • Proven experience as an Echo Tech in a clinical environment.
  • Proficient in cardiac imaging modalities and diagnostic procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Current BLS certification.
