Echo Technologist in Byron, GA

Step into a specialized role utilizing your expertise in echocardiography within a collaborative healthcare environment. This contract opportunity calls for an experienced professional to perform Echo Tech duties, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging services for patients.

Schedule/Hours:

• 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• One night on-call shift weekly (end of shift through 7:00 AM the next day; primarily weekdays, possible weekends)
• No weekend rotation currently required
• Holiday coverage is on-call only for major holidays; department remains open on holiday eves
• Floating to other departments is not required

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proficient operating echocardiography equipment and performing cardiovascular imaging procedures
• Prior professional experience in Echo Tech or Imaging – Echo settings
• Current certification or registry as required for echocardiography practice
• Ability to adapt to call-back demands and provide prompt, compassionate care
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality echocardiograms to assist in diagnostic and treatment decisions
• Use imaging technology to capture, analyze, and document cardiovascular function
• Respond efficiently to on-call and call-back requests, delivering patient-centered care as needed
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals
• Adhere to all clinical, operational, and safety protocols within the imaging department
