Echo Technologist | Cape May Court House, New Jersey

Deliver advanced cardiac care by utilizing your expertise in echocardiography as a skilled Echo Tech. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals seeking to apply their clinical knowledge while working with cutting-edge digital ultrasound technology and electronic medical records.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday with rotational weekends
• 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
• On-call duties for both weekdays and weekends

Qualifications and Experience:

• Registered through either ARDMS or CCI (required)
• Active BLS certification
• Experience using EPIC electronic medical record system
• Fully proficient in performing cardiac ultrasound tests, including stress and transesophageal echocardiograms, adhering to American Society of Echocardiography and ICAEL standards
• Strong understanding of digital ultrasound equipment and protocols
• Previous experience in preparing patients, explaining procedures, and providing compassionate care throughout the imaging process

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a variety of cardiac ultrasound procedures with precision and adherence to clinical standards
• Accurately complete scheduled tests within designated time frames, ensuring high-quality care for patient populations of varying ages and health statuses
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process clearly to promote comfort and understanding
• Enter, manage, and navigate patient information within the EPIC electronic medical record system
• Maintain compliance with all imaging safety and ethical guidelines
