Echo Technologist - Centerville, MA

A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Echo Technologist specializing in cardiac imaging. Step into a vital imaging role, working with advanced echocardiographic technology and contributing to excellent patient care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting.

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
• 8-hour shifts
• Rotational assignments possible at multiple local facilities

Desired Qualifications:

• Certified and registered in Echocardiography (ARDMS or CCI)
• Proven experience performing and interpreting a variety of cardiac imaging procedures, including transthoracic and stress echocardiograms
• Demonstrated ability to operate and maintain ultrasound equipment
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and pathophysiology
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and patient care skills
• Ability to adapt in a team-centered, fast-paced clinical environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct echocardiographic examinations as ordered, providing accurate and high-quality diagnostic images to assist cardiology teams
• Prepare patients for procedures; explain processes and address questions to ensure comfort and safety
• Interpret preliminary findings and document results clearly within electronic medical records
• Maintain ultrasound equipment, troubleshoot issues, and monitor for quality control
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing, and other allied health professionals to ensure optimal outcomes
