Echo Technologist - Columbus, Ohio

Elevate your career in diagnostic imaging as an Echo Tech, where your expertise will contribute to exceptional patient care in a dynamic clinical environment. This 13-week contract offers the ideal opportunity to collaborate with a supportive team and utilize advanced echocardiography technology.

Schedule:

• 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift
• Day shifts from 8:00am to 4:30pm
• Occasional Sunday call coverage may be required

Qualifications:

• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• ARDMS or CCI credentialing in echocardiography
• Experience performing a variety of echo studies in a healthcare setting
• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and sonographic principles
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient and team communication
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-quality echocardiographic exams according to physician orders and established protocols
• Optimize image quality and adjust imaging parameters for accurate diagnosis
• Collaborate with cardiologists and the healthcare team to review findings and assist in patient treatment planning
• Maintain accurate records and timely documentation of all procedures performed
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and in good working order
• Educate patients about exam procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation

$2,451 - $2,584/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
