Echo Technologist - Concord, North Carolina

Advance your career as an Echo Tech in a dedicated outpatient heart and vascular clinic, providing comprehensive adult cardiac imaging services. This contract role is ideal for professionals with at least one year of echocardiography experience, especially those skilled with Phillips ultrasound equipment. Practice in a supportive, team-oriented environment, performing a variety of procedures with state-of-the-art technology.

Schedule

• 8-hour day shifts
• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• No weekends, on-call, or major holiday coverage required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year as an Echo Tech (adult patients)
• ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
• Current BLS certification
• Experienced with Phillips ultrasound machines
• Strong skills in adult echocardiography protocols and procedures

Preferred Experience

• IV placement proficiency
• Strain imaging and 3D TTE experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms, bubble (saline contrast) studies, and contrast TTEs for adult patients
• Collaborate closely with the on-site cardiologist, RN, peer sonographers, and leadership to ensure seamless patient care
• Document studies efficiently using EPIC EMR
• Adapt to a schedule of approximately seven patients per day, focusing on patient comfort and clinical accuracy
• Attend a focused two-day orientation tailored to your background
