Qualifications:
- Registered or registry-eligible Echo Technologist
- Demonstrated proficiency in performing echocardiograms and interpreting results
- Current certification in Cardiac Sonography preferred
- Strong attention to detail and image quality
- Familiarity with sonography equipment, imaging protocols, and safety standards
- Ability to communicate clearly with patients and healthcare teams
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Responsibilities:
- Conduct echocardiographic exams, including two-dimensional, M-Mode, and Doppler imaging, as ordered by physicians
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to ensure comfort and cooperation
- Optimize imaging equipment settings to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other clinicians to assist in patient evaluation
- Accurately document all procedures, findings, and maintain organized patient records
- Monitor equipment functionality, performing routine maintenance as needed
- Adhere to infection control, confidentiality, and safety requirements in all aspects of work
