Echo Technologist in Egg Harbor Township, NJ

Deliver advanced cardiac diagnostics and patient care as a skilled Echo Tech. This contract position offers a dynamic setting where your expertise in echocardiography will play a critical role in supporting both patients and the clinical team.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday with rotational weekends
• 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
• Weekday and weekend on-call responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Registered as an Echocardiography Technician through ARDMS or CCI
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• EPIC experience is mandatory
• Proven ability in cardiac imaging, including stress and transesophageal echocardiograms
• Thorough understanding of digital ultrasound equipment and adherence to American Society of Echocardiography/ICAEL standards

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive cardiac ultrasound exams, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all quality standards
• Conduct stress and transesophageal echocardiograms as required by clinical protocols
• Prepare patients for procedures, providing effective explanations to ensure comfort and understanding
• Complete all assigned exams within scheduled time frames, meeting the needs of diverse patient populations
• Accurately document procedures and results within the electronic medical record system (EPIC)
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment according to safety and quality guidelines
