Advance your career in diagnostic imaging as an Echo Tech, delivering high-quality cardiac ultrasound services and patient-centered care. In this contract position, you will play a vital role in performing comprehensive echocardiographic studies using state-of-the-art technology in a collaborative clinical setting.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
  • Rotational weekends required
  • On-call duties (both weekday and weekend)

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience performing cardiac ultrasound tests: transthoracic, stress, and transesophageal echocardiograms
  • Familiarity with American Society of Echocardiography guidelines and ICAEL standards
  • Demonstrated proficiency with digital ultrasound equipment
  • Ability to effectively prepare patients and explain procedures in a compassionate manner
  • Strong documentation skills and experience using EPIC electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Registered credential through ARDMS or CCI (required)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a range of echocardiographic exams adhering to established protocols and quality standards
  • Collaborate with cardiology and clinical teams to deliver timely and accurate diagnostic data
  • Complete all scheduled tests within assigned time frames, considering individual patient needs and populations
  • Ensure proper care and sterilization of ultrasound equipment per guidelines
  • Maintain thorough documentation and navigate seamlessly through electronic medical records
