Advance your career as an experienced Echocardiography Technologist, delivering high-quality cardiac imaging within a respected healthcare environment. This position focuses on providing expert diagnostic echocardiograms and echo-related studies during a contract period of 13 weeks.
Schedule:
- Four 9-hour shifts per week
- Day shifts, 7:00am – 4:30pm, Monday through Friday
Credentials and Skills:
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or credentialed by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Demonstrated proficiency in performing echocardiograms and related imaging studies
- Proven ability to operate advanced cardiovascular imaging equipment
- Excellent detail orientation, interpersonal skills, and patient communication
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality adult echo examinations as ordered by providers
- Ensure proper patient identification and maintain a safe and comfortable scanning environment
- Use imaging equipment to acquire and analyze echocardiograms, sharing findings with interpreting physicians
- Accurately document procedures, maintain patient records, and adhere to all departmental protocols
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team to ensure optimal patient care and follow-up
- Participate in quality assurance processes to maintain highest imaging standards
