Echo Technologist - Elkhart, IN

Advance your career as an experienced Echocardiography Technologist, delivering high-quality cardiac imaging within a respected healthcare environment. This position focuses on providing expert diagnostic echocardiograms and echo-related studies during a contract period of 13 weeks.

Schedule:

• Four 9-hour shifts per week
• Day shifts, 7:00am – 4:30pm, Monday through Friday

Credentials and Skills:

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or credentialed by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
• Demonstrated proficiency in performing echocardiograms and related imaging studies
• Proven ability to operate advanced cardiovascular imaging equipment
• Excellent detail orientation, interpersonal skills, and patient communication

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality adult echo examinations as ordered by providers
• Ensure proper patient identification and maintain a safe and comfortable scanning environment
• Use imaging equipment to acquire and analyze echocardiograms, sharing findings with interpreting physicians
• Accurately document procedures, maintain patient records, and adhere to all departmental protocols
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team to ensure optimal patient care and follow-up
• Participate in quality assurance processes to maintain highest imaging standards
