Key Qualifications:

• Registered or registry-eligible as an Echocardiography Technologist (RDCS, RCS, or equivalent)
• Proven experience conducting diagnostic echocardiograms
• Strong proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and utilizing imaging software
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to adapt in a dynamic setting
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive and focused echocardiograms, including 2D, M-mode, color flow, and Doppler studies as ordered by physicians
• Ensure optimal image quality and precise data capture for physician interpretation
• Explain procedures to patients, address questions, and provide reassuring support throughout imaging sessions
• Maintain patient records, prepare detailed technical reports, and ensure all documentation meets strict regulatory standards
• Troubleshoot and maintain echocardiography equipment for performance and safety
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members for seamless patient flow and timely exams
