Join an opportunity as a cardiovascular sonographer specializing in echocardiography to deliver exceptional imaging services in a variety of clinical settings. This travel position offers the chance to work in a dynamic hospital environment, including inpatient units, outpatient clinics, emergency rooms, and cath labs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), contrast studies (Optison/Definity), bubble studies, exercise and dobutamine stress echos.
  • Utilize advanced imaging equipment such as Philips EPIC, Philips CX50, Siemens ACUSON SC2000, and Siemens Origin.
  • Collaborate closely with clinical teams to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information.
  • Use EMR systems including Athena, Meditech, and PICOM to manage patient data.
  • Participate in evening, night, and weekend call rotations as scheduled.
  • Adhere to infection control policies including mandatory flu vaccination.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) credential.
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Experience scanning with preferred equipment brands and familiarity with various echo modalities.
  • Left-handed scanner preferred.
  • Additional pediatric TTE experience is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team.
  • Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel role.
