Make a difference in patient care by applying your expertise in echocardiography in a supportive healthcare environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced professional who enjoys working with a dedicated clinical team to deliver quality imaging services.

Schedule:

  • Four 9-hour shifts per week
  • Days: 7:00am – 4:30pm (Monday through Friday)

Qualifications:

  • Current BLS certification required
  • Registered with ARDMS or CCI in echocardiography
  • Proven experience as an Echo Tech, with strong proficiency in performing echocardiograms and related cardiac imaging procedures
  • Detail-oriented with excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality echocardiography procedures, including transthoracic, stress, and transesophageal echocardiograms as needed
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality guidelines
  • Accurately document and report findings for physician review, ensuring timely and precise communication
  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic procedures, explaining processes and addressing concerns to create a positive patient experience
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize workflow and provide exemplary patient care
  • Adhere to department protocols, infection prevention, and all safety regulations within the imaging department
