Echo Technologist | Gray, Georgia

An opportunity is available for an experienced Echo Tech with advanced imaging skills, specializing in echocardiography. This contract assignment offers daytime hours and a supportive clinical environment focused on patient care and quality diagnostics.

Schedule:

• 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
• Shift: 08:00 – 18:30
• One night on-call shift per week (end of shift until 07:00 the next morning), usually on weekdays but may occasionally fall on a weekend
• No current weekend rotation required
• Call coverage on major holidays only; potential for on-call duties on 50% of holidays per contract; department remains open on holiday eves
• No floating required

Desired Qualifications:

• Certification as an Echo Tech with demonstrated expertise in echocardiographic procedures
• Proficiency in imaging techniques and protocols specific to echocardiography
• Previous experience performing diagnostic echocardiograms in a hospital or clinical setting
• Competence in providing sonography assessments and assisting cardiologists with diagnostic information
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to manage time efficiently
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively during on-call situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized echocardiographic imaging on patients as ordered by clinical staff
• Operate and maintain ultrasound and echo imaging equipment to ensure quality diagnostics
• Accurately document imaging results and patient records in compliance with facility standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to deliver timely and precise diagnostic services
• Respond to on-call and call-back requirements for after-hours imaging needs, including during designated holiday periods
