Echo Technologist | Gray, Georgia

Seeking an experienced Echo Tech with expertise in imaging—specifically, echocardiograms—to deliver high-quality care in a dynamic clinical environment. This contract opportunity offers a supportive setting with opportunities to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.

Schedule/Hours:

• 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
• Shift time: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• 1 night on-call shift per week (end of scheduled shift through 7:00 AM the next day; typically a weekday, occasional weekend possible)
• Major holiday on-call coverage required (up to 50% of holidays per contract)

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience performing echocardiograms in a healthcare setting
• Current registry or license as an Echo Tech as required by applicable regulations
• Proficient in advanced echocardiographic techniques, including transthoracic and transesophageal studies
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and patients
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and participate in call coverage

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform quality echocardiographic studies as ordered by providers
• Set up, operate, and maintain ultrasound and imaging equipment
• Accurately document patient data and imaging results in electronic health records
• Respond promptly to emergency and on-call requests
• Communicate findings efficiently to the healthcare team
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times
