Echo Technologist - Gray, GA

Advance your imaging career with an opportunity to specialize in echocardiography within a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract role calls for a skilled Echo Tech professional to perform critical imaging procedures in a collaborative setting that values clinical excellence and patient-centered care.

Schedule:

• 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
• Shift hours: 8:00 am – 6:30 pm

Call & Holiday Expectations:

• On-call: 1 night shift per week (end of shift until 7:00 am next day; typically a weekday, weekend possible)
• Holidays: Call required for approximately 50% of major holidays; department open on holiday eves

What We're Looking For:

• Demonstrated proficiency in echocardiography and cardiac imaging procedures
• Registered or registry-eligible Echo Tech with relevant credentials
• Strong technical knowledge of imaging equipment and protocols
• Detail-oriented and capable of delivering clear, accurate imaging studies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work seamlessly with physicians and patients
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical environment preferred

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality echocardiograms according to physician orders and established guidelines
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to interpret results and support diagnostic decision-making
• Maintain equipment and manage daily workflow efficiently
• Respond promptly to on-call imaging needs, ensuring availability during assigned times
• Uphold departmental standards for patient care, safety, and documentation
