Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current certification as an Echo Technologist (RDCS or RCS).
  • Valid and active state licensure in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or eligibility for licensure in North Carolina.
  • Proficiency in performing routine and advanced echocardiograms.
  • Previous experience in a hospital or clinical imaging setting preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate ultrasound equipment for echocardiograms in accordance with diagnostic protocols.
  • Obtain high-quality cardiac images and accurately document findings.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other clinicians to assess patient conditions.
  • Maintain equipment hygiene, safety protocols, and patient confidentiality.
  • Educate patients about procedures and address concerns with empathy and professionalism.
