Key Qualifications:
- Current certification in Echocardiography (ARDMS or CCI preferred)
- Proven proficiency in performing echocardiograms, including knowledge of adult and pediatric echo studies when required
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and pathophysiology
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with patients and healthcare providers
- Adaptability to diverse clinical environments and willingness to learn new protocols
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality echocardiograms as ordered by physicians
- Prepare and position patients for accurate examinations
- Analyze images for quality and completeness before submitting to reading physicians
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to facility policies and regulatory standards
- Work collaboratively with medical teams to ensure optimal patient care
