Echo Technologist - Kaleva, MI

Utilize your expertise in echocardiography to make a direct impact on patient care in a supportive clinical environment. This contract position offers a 13-week assignment focused on providing high-quality imaging services specifically related to echocardiography. The ideal candidate will be skilled with imaging equipment and have a commitment to delivering clear, accurate diagnostic data to clinical teams.

Schedule/Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts each week
• Day shifts: 7:00am – 5:30pm
• Manager offers schedule flexibility

Qualifications:

• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Registered with ARDMS or CCI
• Proficient in imaging procedures, especially echocardiograms
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret images accurately
• Effective communication skills for interaction with patients and clinical staff
• Prior experience in a clinical setting as an Echo Tech preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging studies as directed
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring safety and calibration
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results
• Provide compassionate patient care and explain procedures to patients and families
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with facility protocols
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe working environment
