As an Echo sonographer in this dynamic setting, you will further develop your skills by working closely with cardiologists and taking on a variety of echocardiology exams, including stress echo procedures. Operating independently in the imaging department enhances your decision-making abilities and adaptability, while exposure to diverse workplace practices and leadership styles helps broaden your professional expertise. Schedule/Hours:

  • Days: 0700 – 1530
  • Four 10-hour shifts per week (40 hrs/week)
  • No weekends, holidays, or on-call assignments

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Ultrasonography or Cardiac Sonography
  • ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) certification
  • BLS certification required
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer preferred
  • EMR experience with Cerner
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills for direct collaboration with cardiologists
  • Ability to work independently and perform a variety of exams

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a range of echocardiology exams, including stress echoes
  • Independently manage exam workflow within the imaging department
  • Maintain accurate documentation within Cerner EMR
  • Ensure excellent patient care and bedside manner
