Qualifications and Skills:

• Certification in Echocardiography (RDCS or RCS preferred)
• Proven experience performing echocardiograms in a clinical setting
• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, imaging procedures, and patient safety protocols
• Ability to operate and maintain a range of echo imaging equipment
• Strong communication skills to explain procedures and interact with patients compassionately
• Adaptable and detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
• Current BLS certification

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine and advanced echocardiographic examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Prepare and position patients for optimal imaging results while ensuring their comfort and safety
• Analyze data and images to provide accurate, high-quality results for physician interpretation
• Maintain equipment, manage supplies, and keep examination rooms in excellent order
• Collaborate with the wider healthcare team to discuss findings and coordinate patient care
• Complete documentation thoroughly and accurately in compliance with facility standards
• Assist with additional imaging tasks as needed
