Seeking an experienced professional to join a dynamic imaging department as an Echo Technician for a contract assignment. This position focuses on providing high-quality echocardiograms and cardiac imaging to support diagnostic and treatment plans within a collaborative healthcare environment.

Schedule:

  • 40 hours per week
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Rotating assignments possible across multiple units

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience performing echocardiography studies in a clinical setting
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and imaging techniques
  • Certification as an Echo Technologist (RDCS or RCS) strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with standard imaging equipment and reporting systems
  • Adherence to all safety and patient care protocols

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct echocardiograms as ordered by providers, capturing images and diagnostic data
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining steps and addressing questions
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff for comprehensive patient care
  • Accurately document procedures and findings in electronic health records
  • Maintain equipment and ensure all quality assurance measures are met
  • Participate in ongoing departmental training and rotate through various imaging locations as required
