Key Qualifications:

• Completion of a recognized program in echocardiography or cardiac sonography
• Active certification (ARDMS, CCI, or equivalent) highly preferred
• Proven experience operating ultrasound and echocardiography equipment
• In-depth knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
• Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration
• Demonstrated ability to review, evaluate, and digitally store imaging results according to clinical protocols
• Commitment to maintaining safety protocols, quality control, and equipment maintenance

Primary Responsibilities:

• Independently perform high-quality transthoracic, stress, and/or transesophageal echocardiograms as ordered
• Prepare patients for procedures, verify orders, and answer related questions with compassion and clarity
• Document, analyze, and present imaging findings for physician interpretation
• Ensure accurate identification, labeling, and archiving of imaging studies
• Maintain compliance with departmental policies and including infection control and HIPAA regulations
• Participate in ongoing continuing education to stay current with advances in echocardiography

$2,420 - $2,560/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
