Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current credentials in echocardiography (RDCS or RCS certification preferred)
• Completion of an accredited sonography or echocardiography program
• Proficient in adult and pediatric echo imaging techniques
• Solid understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology
• Experience performing transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and support staff
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and interpret echocardiograms, Doppler studies, and related procedures as ordered by clinicians
• Accurately document test results and patient data in electronic health records
• Prepare and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with safety and infection control protocols
• Explain procedures and provide compassionate support to patients throughout their experience
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical or equipment issues promptly
• Assist with the training and orientation of new staff as needed
• Collaborate closely with the medical team to ensure timely, effective diagnostic processes
