Echo Technologist in Mishawaka, IN

Step into a vital role supporting cardiac imaging services over a 13-week assignment. This opportunity requires expertise in echocardiography and a keen commitment to providing excellent patient care. If you’re skilled in performing a variety of echo exams and want to contribute to a dynamic medical setting, this position could be a rewarding fit.

Schedule:

• 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Call rotation: 1-2 nights per week

Desired Qualifications:

• Current ARDMS or CCI certification in echocardiography
• Proficient in performing adult and pediatric echo exams, stress echos, and assisting with transesophageal echocardiograms
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology
• Capable of using advanced imaging and PACS equipment
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with multidisciplinary teams
• Detail-oriented with sound clinical judgment

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality echocardiographic exams as ordered by physicians
• Collaborate with cardiologists to deliver accurate and timely diagnostic images
• Explain procedures clearly and compassionately to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety
• Maintain accurate patient records and safeguard patient confidentiality at all times
• Participate in quality assurance, equipment maintenance, and departmental improvement efforts
• Respond promptly when on call to provide essential echo services outside routine hours
