Echo Technologist - Mishawaka, Indiana

Make a direct contribution to patient care by utilizing your expertise in echocardiography. This contract position provides the opportunity to collaborate closely with physicians and the wider healthcare team, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging for patients in need of cardiac evaluations.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Rotating call coverage 1-2 nights per week

Key Qualifications:

• Valid ARDMS or CCI certification
• Demonstrated experience performing echocardiograms and related cardiac imaging procedures
• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills when interacting with patients and the healthcare team
• Commitment to following safety and infection control protocols

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive echocardiographic examinations, including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms
• Accurately obtain and analyze images to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning
• Collaborate with physicians on patient assessments and case reviews
• Maintain meticulous records in accordance with facility standards and patient confidentiality regulations
• Provide patient education regarding procedures and answer any questions to ensure comfort
• Respond to call coverage requirements and provide support during after-hours situations

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
