A leading outpatient heart and vascular clinic is seeking an experienced professional with expertise in adult echocardiography procedures for a contract opportunity. This role centers on providing crucial cardiac imaging services in a supportive, team-driven environment using advanced Phillips equipment.

Schedule & Hours:

  • 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday (7:00 am – 3:30 pm)
  • No weekend, on-call, or major holiday requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year as an Echo Tech
  • Active registry as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS/ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS/CCI)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Experience with Phillips echocardiography equipment (required)
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Preferred: IV placement, Strain, and 3D TTE experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and interpret adult transthoracic echocardiograms, bubble studies, and contrast TTE
  • Maintain high imaging quality standards for a patient population ages 18+
  • Work closely with peers, a supervising cardiologist, an on-site RN, and departmental leadership
  • Document studies in EPIC electronic medical records system
  • Coordinate patient flow to ensure an efficient, compassionate experience (average of 7 patients/day)
  • Adhere to established department protocols; participate in brief 2-day orientation
