Echo Technologist in Monroe, NC

Step into a highly specialized outpatient heart and vascular clinic as an experienced echocardiography professional. This contract role calls for a skilled Echo Tech ready to provide exceptional cardiac imaging to an adult patient population using state-of-the-art Phillips equipment.

Schedule:

• 8-hour Day Shift (Monday-Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm)
• No weekends, on-call, floating, or major holiday work required

Qualifications:

• At least one year of recent experience as an Echo Tech
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) via ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via CCI
• Current BLS certification (NC State Licensure not required)
• Demonstrated proficiency in adult echocardiography (Trans Thoracic Echo, Bubble studies, Contrast TTE)
• Phillips ultrasound machine experience (absolutely required)
• Preferred: experience with IV placement, Strain and 3D TTE
• First-time travelers with the core qualifications are welcome

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform a daily caseload of scheduled adult echocardiography studies, with about seven patients per day
• Operate advanced Phillips imaging systems
• Document and manage patient records in EPIC EMR
• Collaborate within a supportive, cohesive clinic team including a cardiologist, RN, and fellow sonographer
• Maintain professional standards including adherence to facility protocols and Department-specific dress code (Royal Blue tops, Black bottoms)
