Key Qualifications:

  • Certification as an Echo Technologist (RDCS or RCS) required
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and sonographic principles
  • Proven experience performing echocardiograms in a healthcare environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills to ensure patient comfort and clear communication with healthcare providers
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and protocols as needed for optimal imaging
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation and reporting

Schedule:

  • Full-time hours, including daytime shifts with potential for occasional weekends, depending on patient demand

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Conduct both routine and complex echocardiograms, including stress and contrast studies
  • Review and analyze images for quality; identify and record pertinent anatomy and pathology
  • Communicate findings effectively to interpreting physicians and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Foster a patient-focused environment by explaining procedures, answering questions, and providing reassurance
  • Ensure adherence to all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
