Seeking an experienced echo imaging professional skilled in comprehensive cardiac ultrasound techniques to support healthcare delivery in a dynamic hospital setting. This travel opportunity offers the chance to work across multiple environments including inpatient hospital units, outpatient clinics, the emergency room, and cath lab areas.

Responsibilities include performing transthoracic (TTE), transesophageal (TEE), contrast studies (Optison/Definity), bubble studies, exercise and dobutamine stress echo procedures. Experience with pediatric TTE is a plus. You will utilize advanced imaging equipment such as Philips EPIC, Philips CX50, Siemens ACUSON SC2000, and Siemens Origin. Proficiency with electronic medical records systems Athena, Meditech, and PICOM is also required. Participating in an evening, night, and weekend call rotation is part of the schedule.

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Left-handed scanner preferred
  • Proven ability with a variety of echo modalities and contrast agents
  • Strong interpersonal skills; positive attitude, excellent communicator, and open to feedback
  • Must be willing to comply with required flu vaccination (no exemptions)
  • Travel candidates must have a permanent address at least 75 miles from the assignment location

This assignment is located in New Castle, CO, offering exposure to a supportive, multidisciplinary team in an acute care setting.
