Schedule:
- On-call approximately every 5th weekend (Friday to Monday)
- On-call one night per week
- Potential holiday coverage
- On-call response time: within 1 hour
Required Qualifications:
- Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree from an accredited Cardiac Diagnostic Sonography program (2-year track)
- Registry eligible for Adult Echocardiography through ARDMS
- RCS Certification eligibility through CCI
Skills & Experience Needed:
- Proficient in Adult Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE): inpatient portable and outpatient exams
- Structural heart familiarity
- Skilled in ultrasound contrast and agitated saline use
- Competent in Adult Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE), including probe high-level disinfection
- Experienced in Adult Stress Echocardiography (STE)
Preferred Experience:
- Comfortable with EPIC EMR documentation
Equipment Used:
- Experience with Philips EPIQ Ultrasound System
