A skilled and detail-oriented professional is needed for a contract opportunity specializing in imaging, with a strong emphasis on echocardiography. This role is ideal for candidates experienced in performing high-quality echocardiograms and utilizing advanced imaging equipment to assist physicians in diagnosing cardiovascular conditions.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certification as an Echo Tech (ARDMS or CCI preferred)
- Proven experience in performing echocardiograms in a clinical or hospital setting
- Proficient with imaging equipment and echocardiography software
- Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Current BLS certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate echocardiography and other imaging equipment for cardiac assessments
- Produce accurate, high-quality images and interpret preliminary results for physician review
- Record test findings and maintain comprehensive patient records and documentation
- Maintain a clean, safe imaging environment and adhere to clinical protocols and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers regarding procedures and outcomes
- Support patient care by explaining imaging procedures and ensuring comfort throughout the process
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic results
