A skilled and detail-oriented professional is needed for a contract opportunity specializing in imaging, with a strong emphasis on echocardiography. This role is ideal for candidates experienced in performing high-quality echocardiograms and utilizing advanced imaging equipment to assist physicians in diagnosing cardiovascular conditions.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Certification as an Echo Tech (ARDMS or CCI preferred)
  • Proven experience in performing echocardiograms in a clinical or hospital setting
  • Proficient with imaging equipment and echocardiography software
  • Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Current BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate echocardiography and other imaging equipment for cardiac assessments
  • Produce accurate, high-quality images and interpret preliminary results for physician review
  • Record test findings and maintain comprehensive patient records and documentation
  • Maintain a clean, safe imaging environment and adhere to clinical protocols and safety standards
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers regarding procedures and outcomes
  • Support patient care by explaining imaging procedures and ensuring comfort throughout the process
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic results
