Echo Technologist - Salisbury, North Carolina

Step into a vital role supporting adult patients at a leading outpatient heart and vascular clinic. This contract position calls for an experienced Echo Tech to perform high-quality echocardiograms using state-of-the-art Phillips equipment. Work alongside dedicated professionals in a supportive and well-organized department, where patient care and collaboration take center stage.

Schedule:

• 8-hour day shifts, Monday to Friday (7:00 am – 3:30 pm)
• No weekends, holidays, on-call, or floating required

Qualifications & Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience as an Echo Tech
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS/ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS/CCI) credential required
• BLS certification required
• Demonstrated proficiency with Phillips echocardiography equipment (mandatory)
• Strong working knowledge of adult echocardiography procedures, including TTE, bubble studies, and contrast TTE
• Experience with IV placement, strain, and 3D TTE procedures a plus

Responsibilities:

• Conduct adult transthoracic echocardiograms and related diagnostic imaging
• Document procedures and patient details accurately within the EPIC EMR system
• Collaborate closely with a cardiologist, RN, and peer sonographer to ensure consistent, top-tier patient care
• Ensure a compassionate patient experience and uphold clinic protocols at every step
• Engage in a brief, tailored orientation to become familiar with the specific clinic setting and workflows
