Echo Technologist in San Mateo, CA

This contract opportunity is designed for skilled Echo Sonographers who thrive in dynamic settings and excel in both pediatric and fetal echo imaging.

Schedule & Hours:

• 13-week contract with potential for extension
• ASAP starts, flexible start dates available
• 8-hour shifts
• Block scheduling and rotating weekends may be required
• Some travel to outreach sites may be necessary

Qualifications:

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent certification in echocardiography
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in pediatric or fetal echocardiography; higher consideration for those with fetal echo or 10+ years’ experience
• Strong technical proficiency with echo equipment and imaging protocols
• Ability to work independently and provide compassionate patient care in a fast-paced environment
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Willingness to travel to outreach locations as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-quality pediatric and fetal echocardiograms to assist in patient diagnosis and management
• Ensure patient comfort and care throughout the imaging process
• Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to facilitate accurate results and continuity of care
• Maintain detailed, accurate records and comply with facility protocols
• Participate in block scheduling and rotating weekends as assigned

$3,354 - $3,536/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
