Responsibilities:

• Perform echocardiograms, including two-dimensional and Doppler studies, following physician orders and department protocols
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while explaining steps and ensuring their comfort
• Operate and maintain ultrasound and imaging equipment, ensuring calibration and safety standards are met
• Document findings, maintain patient records, and collaborate with physicians for diagnostic accuracy
• Adhere to infection control guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Assist with additional imaging duties or related tasks as requested by clinical supervisors

Qualifications:

• Proven experience and proficiency as an Echo Tech or in cardiac sonography
• Certification through ARDMS or CCI (RDCS, RCS, or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of echocardiographic equipment and digital imaging technology
• Exceptional attention to detail when performing and documenting studies
• Professional, compassionate communication with patients and clinical staff
• Ability to adapt quickly to workflow and follow safety procedures in a clinical environment
