This travel position requires expertise in echocardiography techniques and strong interpersonal skills for a dynamic healthcare setting. The role involves performing advanced imaging procedures in multiple hospital environments including inpatient units, outpatient clinics, emergency rooms, and cath labs.

Location: Silt, Colorado

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform transthoracic (TTE) and transesophageal (TEE) echocardiograms using Philips EPIC, Philips CX50, Siemens ACUSON SC2000, and Siemens Origin equipment.
  • Conduct contrast studies (Optison/Definity), bubble studies, exercise and dobutamine stress echocardiography.
  • Provide rare pediatric TTE examinations as needed.
  • Document findings accurately in EMR systems including Athena, Meditech, and PICOM.
  • Participate actively in evening, night, and weekend call rotations.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining open communication and receptiveness to feedback.
  • Comply with mandatory flu vaccination requirements without declination.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • RDCS certification required.
  • BLS certification mandatory.
  • Experience with specified ultrasound equipment strongly preferred.
  • Left-handed ultrasound scanner proficiency a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within diverse clinical environments and as a team player.

Additional Details:

  • Travel assignment with the requirement that your permanent residence is at least 75 miles from this facility.
  • Housing offered based on availability in newly remodeled, fully furnished studio and one-bedroom apartments close to the hospital. Apartments include Wi-Fi, utilities, and on-site laundry, with no pet policy or deposits required.
