Echo Technologist in South Bend, IN

Advance your career as a highly skilled professional specializing in cardiac imaging. This opportunity focuses on performing precise and compassionate echocardiography services in a hospital environment, supporting patient care and diagnostic excellence over a 13-week contract.

Schedule/Hours:

• 7:00am – 4:30pm, Monday through Friday
• Call required 1-2 nights per week

Qualifications:

• Current certification from ARDMS or CCI required
• Proven expertise in conducting echocardiograms (Echo)
• Experience operating imaging equipment in a clinical or hospital setting
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Commitment to detail, accuracy, and compassion in patient care

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive echocardiographic imaging as ordered by physicians
• Accurately document findings and collaborate on diagnoses with cardiologists and other care providers
• Maintain and operate ultrasound and imaging equipment to a high standard of safety and functionality
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and addressing questions or concerns
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control procedures, and safety guidelines at all times
• Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled, contributing to quality care outside of regular hours

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
