Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certification or registry in echocardiography (RDCS or RCS)
  • Proven experience as an Echo Tech performing diagnostic echocardiograms
  • Strong understanding of ultrasound physics, cardiac anatomy, and physiology
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to interpret and document findings accurately

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct echocardiograms and cardiac ultrasound procedures as ordered by physicians
  • Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures
  • Obtain high-quality diagnostic images following established protocols
  • Analyze and interpret echocardiographic data, presenting comprehensive reports to physicians
  • Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment; ensure a sterile and organized workspace
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to all healthcare regulations and guidelines
