Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Completion of an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology
- ARDMS or CCI certification in Echocardiography (preferred or required as applicable)
- Prior experience as an Echo Technologist in a clinical setting
- Proficiency in 2D, M-mode, and Doppler echocardiographic procedures
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in new environments
Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiograms and cardiac imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
- Operate and troubleshoot advanced imaging and diagnostic equipment
- Prepare patients and explain procedures with clarity and compassion
- Maintain precise, timely documentation and patient records
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to deliver quality diagnostics
- Ensure safety standards and infection control protocols are met
