Key Qualifications:

• Current certification in echocardiography (ARDMS or CCI preferred)
• Demonstrable experience in performing cardiac ultrasound procedures, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
• Proficient in obtaining high-quality diagnostic images and interpreting preliminary findings
• Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with patients and healthcare personnel
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to cardiac imaging

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for echocardiogram studies and ensure comfort throughout the process
• Perform transthoracic, stress, and other specialized echocardiographic exams as ordered by physicians
• Operate and maintain ultrasound imaging equipment, ensuring accuracy and functionality
• Capture clear, usable images and provide accurate measurements for physician review
• Document and archive studies and maintain patient records in accordance with compliance guidelines and privacy standards
• Assist cardiologists with procedures and respond to emergent cardiac imaging needs as required
• Monitor equipment and report any issues or maintenance needs to supervisors
