Echo Technologist | Warner Robins, Georgia

In this contract role, you will play a key part in performing echocardiograms and assisting providers in diagnosing and monitoring cardiac conditions. This position features a 10-hour day shift, running from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, offering a structured schedule with full-time hours.

Schedule/Hours:

• 10-hour day shift (8:00 AM – 6:30 PM)
• 40 hours per week
• One night on-call shift each week (end of shift until 7:00 AM; typically on a weekday, occasionally on a weekend)
• No regular weekend rotation required
• On-call only for major holidays (may be on call for 50% of holidays per contract)
• No floating to other departments

Key Qualifications:

• Current experience as an Echo Tech or in Imaging – Echo roles
• Proficiency in performing cardiac echo studies and working with advanced ultrasound equipment
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology
• Excellent decision-making and critical thinking in clinical environments
• Solid communication skills for working with multidisciplinary care teams
• Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., ARDMS, CCI)

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-quality echocardiograms in alignment with physician orders and protocols
• Prepare patients and explain procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Document findings accurately in electronic health records
• Respond promptly to on-call requests and provide after-hours support when scheduled
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with infection control policies
• Assist in quality assurance initiatives within the department
