Echo Technologist in Warner Robins, GA

Seeking a skilled professional to provide quality Echo imaging services on a contract basis. This position requires expertise in Echocardiography and the ability to independently perform and analyze imaging procedures, contributing to positive patient outcomes in a healthcare setting.

Schedule:

• 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
• Shift hours: 08:00 – 18:30

On-Call & Holiday Details:

• One night of on-call duty per week, starting at end of shift through 07:00 the next morning; typically on weekdays, but occasionally may fall on a weekend
• No current weekend rotation required
• Holiday call coverage for approximately half of major holidays; regular department operations remain open on the eve prior to holidays

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in Echocardiography and Echo Tech procedures
• Certification in Echo imaging technology strongly preferred
• Proficiency in the use of modern imaging equipment and related technology
• Ability to interpret test results accurately and document findings
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with healthcare teams
• Capacity to provide compassionate patient care during procedures
• Must be available for scheduled on-call shifts and holiday coverage as described

Role Responsibilities:

• Independently perform echocardiograms and related studies as ordered by providers
• Prepare, operate, and maintain imaging equipment according to established protocols
• Ensure proper documentation of all procedures and findings in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other allied health professionals to facilitate the best possible care
• Adhere to all safety and infection prevention policies
• Remain flexible and dependable in scheduling, particularly for on-call coverage
