Schedule & Hours:

• 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
• Shift: 0800 – 1830

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality echocardiographic studies, including transthoracic and stress echos, following established protocols
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals, delivering accurate and timely diagnostic information
• Maintain equipment, perform quality control checks, and ensure patient safety at all times
• Provide compassionate patient care before, during, and after procedures
• Timely and concise documentation of imaging findings

On Call & Holiday Details:

• One night of on-call coverage per week; on call ends at 0700 the following morning; could be assigned weekdays or weekends as needed
• Department is open on the eve of holidays; on-call responsibilities may be assigned for up to 50% of holidays during the contract period
• No weekend rotation currently required
• No floating to other departments

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Echo Tech, with proficiency in Imaging - Echo procedures
• Current ARDMS or CCI certification in echocardiography preferred
• Demonstrated ability to interact empathetically with patients and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, technical skills, and attention to detail
