Utilize your expertise in echocardiography by delivering high-quality imaging support for a respected healthcare setting. This contract opportunity centers on conducting advanced cardiac ultrasound procedures using digital ultrasound equipment and working closely within a collaborative care environment.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm
  • Rotational weekends
  • On-call responsibilities (weekday and weekend)

Qualifications:

  • Current registration through ARDMS or CCI (must have)
  • Valid BLS certification
  • Demonstrated experience with comprehensive cardiac ultrasound procedures (including stress and transesophageal echos)
  • Prior experience using EPIC electronic medical records required
  • Deep familiarity with ICAEL and American Society of Echocardiography standards
  • Solid command of digital ultrasound equipment and techniques
  • Strong communication skills—able to prepare and explain procedures clearly to patients
  • Ability to efficiently complete daily testing schedules for various patient populations

Role Responsibilities:

  • Perform a full range of cardiac ultrasound examinations, including specialized studies (stress and transesophageal echos)
  • Adhere to ASE protocols and ICAEL standards throughout all procedures
  • Accurately document and manage clinical data within EPIC EMR
  • Ensure patients are properly prepped and supported before, during, and after examinations
  • Deliver test results and technical observations to the healthcare team for prompt patient management
  • Maintain equipment and work area to uphold safety and regulatory compliance
  • Participate in the rotational call schedule to provide urgent coverage as needed
