Echo Technician | Wildwood, New Jersey

A skilled Echo Tech is needed for a contract assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. This role is crucial in providing high-quality cardiac imaging to support patient care and clinical decisions. The successful candidate will work closely with cardiology teams and demonstrate expertise in echocardiography and digital ultrasound technology.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
• Rotational weekends required
• On-call duties required (weekdays and weekends)

Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification
• Registered through ARDMS or CCI
• Experience using EPIC electronic medical records
• Comprehensive understanding of cardiac ultrasound techniques and digital ultrasound equipment
• Ability to perform cardiac ultrasound tests in line with the American Society of Echocardiography guidelines and ICAEL standards
• Professional communication skills to effectively prepare and explain procedures to patients

Responsibilities:

• Conduct various echocardiographic studies, including stress echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily scheduled diagnostics across a variety of patient populations
• Maintain documentation and imaging records within the EPIC system
• Comply with established safety and quality assurance protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to provide optimal patient care
• Adhere to all regulatory and accreditation standards for imaging and clinical practice
