Advance your career as an experienced EEG Technician in a dynamic healthcare environment. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional patient care and conducting detailed neurodiagnostic studies. Schedule:
- 12-hour day shifts, Wednesday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- No regular weekend shifts
- On-call assignment: one shift per week and one Saturday per month
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years prior experience as an EEG Technician
- Current certification: either Board of Registered EEG Technologist (ABRET) or Certified EEG Technician (CET) is required
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and the clinical team
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized EEG studies on patients of all ages as ordered by physicians
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of neurodiagnostic data, adhering to established protocols
- Maintain high standards of patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality at all times
- Accurately document findings, prepare test reports, and collaborate with neurologists and other medical professionals
- Stay organized and prepared for scheduled shifts as well as on-call responsibilities
