Put your specialized expertise in neurodiagnostic care to use by supporting patients and healthcare professionals as an experienced EEG Technician. This contract opportunity involves providing high-quality imaging and EEG services during established day shifts, with a defined on-call rotation.

Schedule:

  • 12-hour day shifts: Wednesday to Friday, 6:30 am – 7:00 pm
  • No weekend shifts required, except for one Saturday on-call per month
  • On-call: 1 night per week, plus the Saturday monthly rotation

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an EEG Technician
  • Certified through one of the following: Board of Registered EEG Technologist (ABRET) or Certified EEG Technician (CET) registry (Required)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (Required)
  • Demonstrated proficiency with EEG equipment and neurophysiologic monitoring
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a healthcare team

Role Responsibilities:

  • Administer EEGs and monitor neurodiagnostic recordings on patients per provider orders and best practices
  • Accurately document patient data and results, maintaining clear and confidential records
  • Prepare and maintain EEG equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Educate patients and families about EEG procedures to create a comfortable testing environment
  • Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, and neurology staff to communicate findings and ensure quality patient care
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and infection prevention protocols
