Make a difference in patient care by leveraging your expertise in imaging and electrophysiology as an EP Technologist. This contract opportunity calls for an experienced professional with a strong background in cardiac imaging procedures and EP lab protocols. Work closely with physicians and allied health staff to support complex electrophysiology studies, ablations, device implants, and other advanced cardiac procedures.
Key Qualifications:
- Prior experience as an Electrophysiology Technologist or EP Tech, preferably in a hospital or large clinical environment
- Proficient in electrophysiology imaging modalities and techniques
- Familiarity with assisting in diagnostic and interventional EP procedures
- Ability to operate EP recording systems, mapping software, and related imaging equipment
- Current certification or registry (such as RCES or IBHRE), or eligible to obtain
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) strongly preferred
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills; able to adapt in a fast-paced clinical setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist cardiologists during electrophysiology procedures including mapping, ablation, and device implants
- Set up, operate, and monitor EP and imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety
- Document all relevant procedural and patient care information accurately in accordance with regulatory standards
- Prepare patients and procedure rooms for studies, maintaining strict protocols for infection control and equipment function
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during complex cases
- Collaborate with the team to optimize workflow and procedure scheduling

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
