Endoscopy Technician | Stow, Ohio

Seeking a detail-oriented and skilled professional to support a dynamic endoscopy department on a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience as an Endoscopy Technician, providing crucial assistance during procedures and ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and equipment care.

Schedule:

• 7:00 am to 3:00 pm

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Imaging - Endo Tech or Endoscopy Technician
• Current BLS certification
• Demonstrated ability to scrub cases in an endoscopy environment
• Expertise in cleaning endoscopy scopes and ensuring proper sterilization protocols
• Willingness to take call responsibilities as needed
• Strong attention to detail and capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Support gastroenterologists and nurses throughout endoscopic procedures
• Scrub and assist during cases, maintaining a sterile environment at all times
• Manage, clean, and process endoscopy scopes and related equipment in compliance with established protocols
• Monitor inventory of supplies and inform management of needs
• Respond to emergency cases and remain available for on-call situations as scheduled
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all departmental policies and regulatory guidelines
